Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that irregularities occurred during the RJD’s time in power, and investigations are ongoing. This comes in response to media inquiries regarding the government’s decision to review decisions made by departments led by former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and two RJD ministers. The Chief Minister emphasized that such irregularities would not be tolerated, and departments from the previous government are being scrutinized. Regarding his relationship with allies and opposition leaders, Kumar mentioned maintaining good relations and exchanging pleasantries with them. Despite joining the NDA after leaving the grand alliance, he had a cordial encounter with RJD president Lalu Prasad in the state assembly. Lalu Prasad, in turn, indicated that doors are open for Nitish Kumar in the future. Kumar also expressed confidence in the BJP-led coalition’s performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, predicting they would secure more than 400 seats. Addressing cracks in the opposition INDIA alliance, Kumar distanced himself from the group’s decisions, stating he had no involvement and is solely focused on his current affiliation with the NDA.
