Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jammu and inaugurated numerous development projects amounting to 32,500 crore rupees. Additionally, he launched or laid the foundation stone for projects worth 13,500 crore rupees across the country. PM Modi was warmly received at the Jammu airport by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, and other prominent BJP leaders, including J-K unit president Ravinder Raina. A large crowd from across Jammu and Kashmir gathered at the Maulana Azad Stadium for the event. During the visit, PM Modi distributed appointment letters to approximately 1,500 newly recruited government employees of Jammu and Kashmir and engaged with beneficiaries of various schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu’ program. He expressed satisfaction over the enrollment of over 45,000 children in schools for the first time, particularly highlighting the benefits for girls. PM Modi also remarked on the enthusiasm and clarity with which the people of Jammu and Kashmir shared their experiences, indicating their happiness and contentment. He noted that such conversations would boost morale and strengthen faith across the country.
