Article 370 advance booking : Yami Gautam upcoming film earns ₹39.68 lakh in pre sales ahead of its release

Yami Gautam’s film Article 370 is scheduled for release on Friday February 23. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale the movie centers around the Prime Ministers Office decision to revoke the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. It has received a U/A rating from the Central Board of Film Certification and has a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios the film offers a compelling narrative inspired by real events that influenced the destiny of Kashmir. The political drama thriller film Article 370 is set to hit 1,500 cinema halls across 2,200 screens in India according to initial estimates. Priyamani Kiran Karmarkar and Arun Govil play significant roles alongside Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar. The trailer for Aditya Dhar’s directorial debut was unveiled on February 8 in Mumbai. Dhar described the film as India centric and praised its compelling narrative. Prime Minister Narendra Modi endorsed the film stating it would provide accurate information about Article 370. With tickets priced at ₹99 on Cinema Lovers Day and the Prime Minister endorsement the film opening day box office collection is expected to receive a significant boost. Early booking numbers have surpassed those of several Akshay Kumar films indicating promising potential. Pinkvilla predicts the film could gross around ₹4-5 crore on its opening day.
