The ongoing Farmers march to Delhi has been paused until February 29 due to focus shifting on the death of a protest participant. Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized small farmers welfare at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation. The Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress have reached a seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. Congress will contest 17 seats while SP and allies will contest 63 seats. Additionally SP will contest the Khajuraho Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh and support Congress in the remaining seats. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Vadodara Bharuch section of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway and other development projects spanning various sectors.
