Rumors suggest that the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series may introduce two new color options: Titanium Grey and Desert Titanium. Expected to launch in September, similar to previous Apple smartphone releases, speculation has been rife about the potential features and changes in the latest iPhone series. According to a recent rumor from prominent tipster Majin Bu on X (formerly Twitter), the Desert Titanium variant, also known as Desert Desert Yellow, will feature a finish similar to the iPhone 14 Pro but with a deeper and heavier shade. Meanwhile, the Titanium Gray, also referred to as Cement Gray, will resemble the finish of the iPhone 6. However, it’s important to note that Majin Bu’s track record regarding upcoming iPhone features is mixed, with greater accuracy in accessory rumors compared to hardware rumors, as reported by 9to5Mac. The tipster himself acknowledged that the information isn’t guaranteed to be accurate and is merely speculative at this point. Apple’s ‘Pro’ iPhone models typically launch with up to four color variants, including basic options like black, white, and gold, along with more vibrant choices like green, blue, or purple, as reported by MacRumors. The current iPhone 15 Pro follows this trend with color options including Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium. Considering Majin Bu’s recent rumor, it’s speculated that Apple may retain the Black Titanium and White Titanium variants for the iPhone 16 Pro, while discontinuing the Blue Titanium and Natural Titanium options to make room for the new color choices.
