However Google clarified the misinformation affirming Gmails continued existence with a social media post stating Gmail is here to stay. Tech experts further clarified that while Gmail discontinued its HTML only version in January 2024 the standard @gmail service remains fully operational ensuring uninterrupted email access for users.
