Google has opened a new office in Pune’s Koregaon Park Annex, and software engineer Riddhi Dutta provided a glimpse of the office on Instagram. The video reveals a well-equipped cafe, a gaming zone, a recreation room, and aesthetically pleasing interiors. Google offices are known for their various perks, including cooked and packaged food options for employees, as well as spaces for relaxation and recreation like game zones with table tennis and carrom. The office also features massage chairs to help employees de-stress. It focuses on developing advanced enterprise cloud technologies, providing real-time technical advice, and offering product and implementation expertise in collaboration with global engineering teams. Designed to accommodate over 1,300 employees, this new establishment increases Google’s office count in India to five, with the country headquarters located in Hyderabad. Anil Bhansali, VP of Cloud Engineering, India, Google Cloud, stated that these teams will contribute to the development of advanced enterprise cloud technologies and provide support for customers’ digital transformation journey.
